[BUG / Not Enabled] Mini-map options menu does nothing

So I tried to turn off the mini-map in the options menu, but it didn't do anything.

Will there be options to reduce / remove the user interface on the screen. Hot-keys perhaps to minimize these things and a small button to open and close these interfaces at will without going to the menu options.
