Custom Races and Ships Database

So... not sure how feasible this is... but I was wondering if there was a way to upload our custom races and ship designs into a common database in the cloud so that when you chose to play against random races something I created popped up.  Because I really want the Karnes Star Republic to dominate you all.

It was something I remembered from playing Spore and I was wondering if it could work here.

They will be using steam workshop for this. 

 

You would still have to download other peoples designs manually, but then they would/could probably be part of random races.

 

I'm sure there will be packs of 100+ civilizations eventually.

 

If you want your race to own others, i suggest making a good scenario or custom map instead, multiple players/races vs your super OP race or some such.

From what I understand the ai will be able to farm for ship builds and tactics so if your race/ships work well you may see them popping up later on
