Conquest bug

unless I'm miss-understanding something.. the computer is declaring "conquest" on me and instantly winning in 1 turn.. of course it doesn't even have any of my cities.. (the chart when the game ends shows that some AI has done something.. but I still don't get it.. I thought conquest was full-on military victory?)

Or that I'm at war with.. so I assume this is a bug.. I started this game with the 1.7 patch from may.. and then I updated recently to 1.7b so I don't know if that's related.. but it is kind of annoying to see the game ended-instantly..

I've had the case of losing by conquest instantly in my modded games, and also cases where the AI cast the Spell of Making when that victory was supposed to be turned off.  It could be a hidden player casting Spell of Making or it could be something else.  I'm not sure if I've had the AI cast Spell of Making in a non-modded game, but it might be possible.

PS: You might want to move this thread to Legendary Heroes, or LH Support, both subforums of Fallen Enchantress.

Edit the OP, click on the "Category" tab where it says "FE Support" and then choose the forum that you want it to go to.

Hmm.. I have a clue to what may have caused the problem :(

A long time ago.. I decided to turn on the cheats and gave myself like 1000 everything but realy just wanted mana (cause that was the easiest one to get that) now I just decided to cheat and err destroy a unit with the cheats.. and when I did that on a certain unit.. the game automatically went to that "you lost" by domination bug

 

So even though I did this cheat.. something like 20 or 50 turns ago in my last game.. I did see it set off by one remove unit in my current game :(

 In this case I removed a field attacker near a city I wanted to build and that set off the bug :(

 

Let that be a lesson to yah.. don't cheat.. :P
