I guess I am a bit confused Winstep is Nexus right? so you can run Nexus with Stardock Apps or jusy one or the other? Because Nexus Winstep is a bit costly.

Nope. Nexus is part of Winstep. It is also a free dock you can use right along with ObjectDock. No conflicts just tons of fun bodadog,
