HELP!!! Just got game

Well I just got the game and started it up and finished up my first turn and then BAM!!!!  I cannot advance to the next turn.  There is no next turn button on the screen and Input says hitting 'Enter' is 'RequestNewTurn' Yet when I do hit Enter it selects the Ship Yard then opens the Ship Yard.  I tried Tab (which does the same thing as Enter) and Space Bar but nothing.

I have played GalCiv2 for years and it had a turn button.  So what am I doing wrong.

At this point in the beta GC3 makes you do something with all your planets, ships, and shipyards (and technology and ideology) before the button in the lower right says "Turn".  So try telling that shipyard to build a ship, give your ships orders to go someplace (or pass), etc, and you will eventually get the turn button.

The "next turn" button doesn't show up until you have completed all other actions for the turn. The button (at the bottom right) will say things like "research",  "idle colony", "shipyard idle", "idle ship", etc., until you have taken care of all of them, then it will change to "turn".

The turn button is multifunctional. It is basically a auto check/things to do list for you. It the turn button is telling you that  something is idol or needs attention.  When playing with lots of planets or even ship yards it comes in handy. You will notice your turn button -lower right corner- saying "shipyard Idol", "idol colony", "research" or idol ship. When all those tasks are completed you can complete the turn. I usually cycle threw the check list first until "turn" comes up then micromanage were I feel it's needed then it hit turn.

As for the ship yard you can double click on the left side were the ship designs are to start producing the ship of your desire. On the bottom right of the screen in a box you will see the ship name that you chose and how many turns it will take to produce.
