since adding galciv 3 to my new computer I got for Christmas I have only gotten past the intro video once. Every other time I have tried to open it, the game plays the intro video and then closes itself. the one time it did get through the video and got to the menu all text was gone from the buttons everything was still selectable but not text to tell what you were actually clicking. figured better report it.

Also, just because your computer is new doesn't mean the drivers are up to date. You should check, especially your video drivers. Try disabling any virus protection software while running the game and see if it helps.
