Has anyone come across this issue?
re-installed, verified and ran in admin-mode, all the basic troubleshooting ideas.
A lot of us have noted that there are issues with text getting clipped off and/or not fitting within boxes provided, are you saying you're not seeing any text at all?
Yeah, no text at all, load up the game, and all the menu boxes/list are empty, fiddle my way into the game and again all the text gone, except the information at the top, I'm guessing that's using a different file.
To be precise it's functional texts like menus, because the first text saying about beta is showing, but not the text box below it.
Yeah, just checked the game again and pop up texts still work, like coming soon when hovering certain options over the menu.
I'm guessing the game is having issues calling certain string files, but I wouldn't know what file or what the do with it.
Only thing I can think of is to use Steam to verify your files, but you say you've already done that. Maybe someone else will have a better idea. I have a vague recollection of this happening to one or two people on an earlier beta.
I'd suggest following the steps here, and then submitting a ticket if not resolved.

Opted in to the latest patch and the issue went away. Looks like they fixed it.
