CTD when loading save

Whenever I try to load a save I get a crash to desktop after a short loading screen. It seems to happen with every save, and I think it only started happening with beta 4 (didn't play in a while though, so not 100% sure).

No idea as to what's causing it, unfortunately. New games work perfectly fine though.

System information, in case needed:

OS: Windows 7, SP 1

CPU: AMD Phenom II X6 1090T

GPU: Club 3D Radeon 6950 (1GB VRAM version)

RAM: 8GB

Are you trying to load games saved before Beta 4? The chances of saves made prior to Beta 4 have a high likelihood of being incompatible with Beta 4. It is not unusual for this to happen in any Beta cycle.

Nope, new saves. Would've expected this with old saves, but no, all from the current version.

Hey Trescu,

Does this happen consistently with all of your saves? Additionally, you mention creating new saves, do the crashes occur after a new game has been created and you try to jump back into your game?

In the event this is something that occurs with all of your game saves, I'd like to grab a copy of your latest problematic save to see if I can duplicate the issue. There is some additional information that would be helpful to the troubleshooting/bug-hunting process, if you wouldn't mind, I would appreciate if you could place a ticket through our support system so I can forward the appropriate information to the development team.

Yup, happens with all saves. The "refreshing settings" part of the troubleshooting page actually solved this, though (whish I'd noticed that part of the page earlier on, I actually saw it before...). I sent the ticket regardless, including working, and not working saves, and of course all this information, just in case.

 

Edit: Or, at least I'm trying to submit the ticket... Got an error on that 3 times now, using 2 different browsers...
