Diplomatic mood/reactions

During a game where i was playing as the Humans and i declared war on the Altarians and the Vox. I made myself a nuisance to them blowing up any ship of theirs I could find. Eventually time came to elect the head of the galactic console and despite being actively at war with them still they voted me in as the head. The difficulty of this game was set to normal and all my opponents were set to normal. This seams like odd behavior to me as they should have done anything to keep me off the head if I'm actively at war with them.

Yes, the AI tends to treat all players the same, including using the same dialogue in a lot of cases. Hopefully as the AI get's worked on things like this will be tweaked.

The AI in Beta 4 and earlier is a simple primitive place holder for the real AI that has been tentatively promised for Beta 5.

So in Beta 5 Stardock gets annoyed with all the AI requests and allows Skynet to play the role of GCIII AI. After a week all players keep losing even at easy settings (Skynet decides it doesn't like to lose) and start to cry for the old placeholder AI...but Skynet can't be removed :-)

Care what you wish for :D

End of Lord's quote

Skynet could intentionally lose though so they give it increased processing power to keep it competitive, and to keep the game going ;), otherwise it would never get to win either! You underestimate skynet at your peril :p

What's the betting we'll get a skynet custom race made?
