Adding colors to text updates

One thing I've noticed about the text updates you receive on the right side of the screen while you're playing the game is that they tend to all blend together.  There's nothing to differentiate between each type of update.  Maybe you could use different colors for different kinds of information.  If there's a shortage, it shows up on the log as blue so you can know right away that update was about a shortage, rather than being about someone else buying stock, or whatever.  

It's pretty basic, but, I think colors might help people prioritize the different bits of news.  Say going from blue to red, blue being less important information and red being extremely important.  Just a thought!
