Space battles?

I love the sin's games and i have a question.

Will this game have massive space battles in between planets, and the same jump style as sins?

No.  It's purely terrestrial.

Somewhere frogboy said something like "this is pre alpha, we don't even have trees yet!".

So I guess the game won't stay like this :)

PS  I also lament the absence of space based ship combat.  I was hoping this would be 64 bit Sins before they announced.   Still kinda bitter I guess.  My favorite game is going to die a slow 32 bit death.  (I will play you my love (modded with SOA2 of course) until the last wisp of moisture slips from my frozen dessicated, shattered corpse.)
