Hi! i'm having an issue as of 5.1 where any time I load a save (whether it be from an autosave or a manual one) the game crashes to the desktop, I've already submitted a ticket (#RIN-774-78784) but i was just wondering if anyone else was having a similar issue or if anyone had found a solution. I'd really like to get back to playing this 
Yes, I had this problem when trying to load a game saved on the previous code drop, but so far with games saved from the current level of the game I have had no problems. This is to be expected during any beta cycle.
If your save was from a new game started with the current code level then your submitted ticket will help Stardock find the problem.
You might also try renaming or deleting the folder <your documents>\my games\GalCiv3.
I have also had this problem, and have submitted tickets for it. I saved many different game types to try and see if it was a particular setting, but I have not gotten any luck with that so far. Map sizes, settings, and custom races do not seem to matter. Autosaves do not load either.
I tried the game settings refresh they suggested, and tried lowering my graphics to make it easier on my computer to load (which seems to play it just fine at high settings).
So yes, I believe I have the same problem, and for what it's worth, this seems to have started with B5. During B4 I was able to load saves just fine. No solution yet, as far as I know.
