Thanks guys for working on this.  The delay for the save file box on a download with Chrome 42 opens significantly faster with this version compared to WB 8.10, but it still lags quite a bit compared to WB 8.06.  Could be a function of other things I have running, but passing on that feedback.

still stuffed with a year old bug :

- roll-up your window

-> your menu hangs out on the desktop

- transparency in perpixel border is inadequately handled

- the UI is terrible...

It is my understanding that that is a windows 8 bug, not a WindowBlinds bug.

YMMV.

In what way is transparency in per pixel borders inadequately handled?

a windows 8 bug, maybe. Certainly affecting windows 7 x 64 when it was working just great with WB 7.xx. I've already told stardock about this many month ago since the first 8.xx and it's still there.

For the transparency, my skin has an active/inactive state, visible with my previous WB installation. With the 8.12, the transparent part of the inactive state is just gone, there is no transparency at all. Obviously something has changed.

That doesn't seem to be something I am aware of.

Per pixel transparency would be automatic as it is by definition per pixel so based on what is drawn.

Could you provide a sample skin and screenshots?

What skin is it? If it's a third party, you will need to contact that skin maker.

Maybe there was something in my system as I had to go back in time using system restore and now the active/inactive state is right back.
