Feedback 97.5 some issues how can I post a save game?

Greetings Folks,

 

I am post 250 turns into an Excessive map with 13 Majors and all Minors. I have found some issues that I think should be looked. How can I post a save game or two?

 

  • Approval relics are not affecting my empire. I have 6 and should have a 60% reduction across the empire and they are not showing or reducing my 'empire wide' unhappiness which is keeping me all the way down to 42%. I spent time and research to get a few tiers into Archeology only to discover they are NOT working at all.
  • Majors are inhibited somehow. After 50 turns the Iconians, and 3 other player created AI did not make a single Colony ship and after 250+ turns are still at 3 colonies yet have at least 2 colonizable planets NEARBY! I even grabbed one from the edge of Iconian influence thinking I would lose it but he has not built anything at all. I gave tech, cash and he still ignored planets and did not expand.
  • The empire wide penalty is harsh. I only have about 29 colonies and I am sunk at below 40%. On Maps where there literally 100s of colonizable planets this would kill your game.
  • I have had Zero Crashes but I am still having my mouse 'bounce' from zoom in to zoom out when I try to do either with my mouse wheel.
  • I have created sensor wagons after hearing about them. I can see exceptionally far and still I do not consider this an exploit but a part of the game. Keep them in.
  • Game is fluid with no drops in frame-rate but... my turns are long, about 13 or more seconds on 'wait'.
  • No issues but its seems like some Ai are doing what they should (Altarians, Drengin, Krynn) but so far many more are sitting Idle and not expanding at all.

As an update to the above. I started another new game. The Approval relics are not showing as working under any planets. Has anyone encountered this issue?

Ok lets see if I can upload some pictures. I started another game today and notice the same issues. Some AI are simply sitting at the starting gate. No expansion at all. I am also having a tough time with approval. I have 3 approval relics, starbases, and approval building and still planets are in the 40% range. I don't know if its working as intended or the relics are not turned on. As you can see below I should get a 30% empire wide approval. Does this mean 30% reduction in unhappiness or an increase of 30% to approval? In either case I cannot tell globally what is affecting my approval 'empire-wide'.  Lets see if the Pictures came through!

As you can see above I am at 66 approval WITH 3 approval relics and I only have 26 colonies! My settings are on uncommon planets with Uncommon habitability in frequency. I really wonder how Seilore can play with 100's of colonies unless my particular case is a bug.

The Approval relics are likely bugged, I had 47 planets with 96 approval but I wasn't using relics I used the +Morale technology from the approval tech line

If have tested your game save: By turn 219 the Iconians have colonized an additional three planets. They seem to be not building colonizers because they are rush buying combat ships and creating fleets. But the colonizers are being build eventually and used. The ship deployment is rather strange: Colonizer is build, goes to a fleet (i assume there is a rally point there), joins the fleet, and the next turn ejects from the fleet and goes to a colonizable planet and makes planet fall.

Everything behaves normal on my system.

Also the 13 seconds wait is not really excessively bad, on my system running a soak on your game takes about 9 seconds per turn. So it is the sheer map and data size that needs to be processed that gobbles cpu cycles.

On the approval: use approval buildings and starbase modules.

By the way to show images stored on dropbox you must alter the dl parameter in the url from 0 to 1.
