Glitch with Ship Graveyard & Pirates

When a survey ship investigates/attacks a ship graveyard protected by pirates, the screen flashes and shows the result/reward (ex. Battle Axe M0) BEFORE fighting the pirates. The screen hangs for a moment and you must click Done to accept the reward and then move on and fight the pirates. Is anyone else seeing this?

Yep and you really shouldn't get the reward until after the pirates.
