I wanted a easy way to see which improvements upgrade into which approvements, so i set to work making a flowchart. Found some bugs/errors along the way. Note that i did this on Altarians.
1. Unlock command
This gives you the achievements for unlocking all benevolent/pragmatic/malevolent perks. Presumably cheating to get them isn't the intend.
2. Omega Research Center
-Tooltip says "Makes laboratories more efficient, and boost Research.". This is the standard tooltip for power plants/coordination center/banks. Every other Galactic Achievement says that it boost every world in your civilization.
This is also the only galactic Achievement that is a upgrade from another improvement. My suggestion would be to make this a regular galactic achivement like singularity power plant, and to add a level 3 research boost building (similar to quantum power plant/financial sector), because that currently does not exist.
-This building gets only 1% Research bonus per level. Virtually every other building, including other galactic achievements, get 5% per level.
3. Capital Buildings
All 4 capital buildings (manufacture/research/income/trade) get +25% influence growth bonus. however:
-the Technological Capital gets +5% Influence growth per level on top of that. the other 2 dont
-the manufacturing capital gives +3 level to Influence as a adjacency bonus, the other 2 dont.
-the financial capital gets +10% gross income per level, compared to +5% of virtually every other building.
-trade capital gets nothing
4. Research Cloistsrs/Quantum Research Foundation/Ascension Gate
-Quantum Research Foundation tooltip doesn't fit in its window
-Ascension gate is not a upgrade of Quantum Research Foundation. While the tooltips and stats heavily imply it should be a upgrade, and not a standalone building.
5. Food Distribution/Xeno Irrigation
-These buildings get +10% growth bonus per level. The hopsital line of improvements only gets 5%. 5% is what virtually every building gets. While i dont mind that this gives growth, food might be a more appropiate bonus?
-Food distribution can be build again when you upgrade the original one.
6. Hyperion Logistics Sytem
Building itself gives -1 logistics to ships built. Level bonus gives +1 logistics. Wondering if that is intentional of if the bonus should be -1 to ships build also.
7. Trade Buildings
-All trade buildings give "Trade Route Value +x%" as their primary effect, but give "Trade Route Income" as their level bonus. shouldn't this be the same?
8. Atlarian Morale Buildings
-Xeno Commerce gives Altarians the Entertainment Center (+2 morale)
Interstellar Tourism gives altarians the Stadium (+6 morale)
Altarians do not get the +4 morale improvement from technology, and as such cannot upgrade their entertainment centers.
Stadium needs to be removed form the tech for altarians. (maybe remove entertainment center too, since it doesn't really fit the altarian line of buildings.)
-Drathian Temple is not a upgrade from Communion Shrine. I guess this is because it is unique, not sure why it is unique either . it should upgrade at least.
-Shrine of Tandis and Shrine of the Mithralar have exactly the same stats, except mithralar gives +15% influence and tandis gives +25%. i imagine they need to be the same, or completely different.
-Shrine of Tandis and Shrine of the Mithralar both give +0.3 Morale, this should be +3.
9. Precursor Souvenir Shop
-This should be both a tourism and a wealth improvement for adjacency purposes, it is currently just wealth.
10. Social matrix/Dark energy lab
-These buildings seems to be level 2 when build, despite not having any adjacent bulidings.
-these buildings need a buff of some sort to be competitive with factories/research labs of the same tech level. I's say social matrix +10%/+10% --> +40%/+40% and dark lab +25%/+25% --> +55%/+55% or even +75%/75%. or give them +3 adjacency bonus. ATM they are pretty useless, instead of your amazing cool unique race building.
11. Ultra Terraformer
Altarians needs acces to the ultra terraformer, or the ultra terraformer needs to be nerfe, (or Biosphere Manipulators need to not be unique). This thing is waaaay to strong to not give to one race.
12. Galactic Achievements
These need to have their bonus to other world in the tooltip.
Bonusses apear to be: (based on tooltip on another planet)
-Singularity power plant 5% manufacturing (note: says production in the building tooltip, should change to manufacuturing)
-Omega Research Center 100% +1% per level researcg (seems to give the entire buildings bonus, instead of 5% orsomething)
-Galactic Stock Exchange 50% + 5% per level gross income (seems entire building bonus again)
-Cultural Beacon 10% influence
-Shrine of Tandis 0.3 approval (should be 3 i guess?)
-Galactic Bazaar not sure how to check.
-Restaurant of Eternity not sure how to check.
I feel like i am doing it wrong with these things.... or are they really broken?
