Ashes: May Founders Update

The Ashes of the Singularity Founder’s Alpha is starting to come together.  We’re looking at the second week of June presently to get it into your hands.

So what will it have?

  1. Single player Skirmish
  2. 3 different planets
  3. 2 player multiplayer (maybe 4 but no promises)
  4. Lots of pew pew

We’ve uploaded a couple of new videos to the Founder’s Vault. Do not share those videos. You’re welcome to talk about them on the forum but given how early the game is, we don’t want people seeing it yet.

Yep.  About 3 weeks from last Thursday I'd guess.

Bear in mind, it'll be an ALPHA.  I will probably do a video that shows you how to play and walks players through all the obvious things that we don't yet support.

MP works pretty well though at least.  The AI is being put together by me (GalCiv) and Brian Wade (Civilization). Mostly (nearly all) the latter. But the AI in the alpha will be very primitive still since we're still monkey around with game mechanics.

Video was good with the voice over although it cut short for me I might try downloading again.  

 

I I liked the PDFs too, as you say it was interesting getting some background on game decisions.

Hi there,

 

Is there a way to see more gameplay soon? I am really thinking of buying the game with the lifetime subscription. I love Supreme Commander, Sins of a Solar Empire or even Planetary Annihilation. Will players be allowed to stream alpha footage? Or will you soon release more footage when the game hits alpha in 2 weeks on Steam?
