Sorcerer King 5.2 Beta Opt-in Now Available

The Sorcerer King 5.2 beta update is now available as an opt-in on Steam. This update includes tons of bug fixes, new cities improvements, tactical battle maps, unique Sovereign starting spells, and more.

To opt into the patch, do the following:

  1. Open your Steam client

  2. Right-click Sorcerer King, select Properties

  3. Select the Betas tab

  4. In the drop-down menu, choose “Opt-in”

  5. Close the properties window

  6. Your game should patch automatically

Excellent! Starting a new Let's Play tonight!

Admittedly, I find it a little harder to be excited about this one knowing what's coming down the pipe. The idea of expanding minor factions is too exciting for me to bear. How far out, roughly, are you all from a true release candidate for 1.0?
