XFX R9 270x Mantle, card not supported.

Work around?

AMD FX 8350

16GB ddr3

AMD Radeon R9 270x 2gb 

 

Tried with latest official drivers and tried with latest beta drivers but starting the game in mantle mode on both returns an error that the card is not supported. 

Anyone else having this issue? Thanks in advance!

same issue here on Radeon HD 7970, FX-8350, 32GB 1600mhz DDR3

It may not be ready for us to use mantle but I didn't see anything about it not being supported in the "alpha release" posts unless I just missed it. We'll see.

The 7000s series has a hardware level bug in it they we have to work around, so it's not supported yet in the alpha. The 270 might have the same bug, I'm not familiar enough with the product name vs GPU Version. (It's a bug in GCN 1.0)

oh well, lets hope DX12 alpha is out when Windows 10 releases

Aww suffering this problem too. I have a 7970. Quite gutted :/.

Hopefully up and running on mantle support for my card soon.

Back when I had my Sapphire R9 270x Toxic edition I had the exact same issue.

Just letting you know that the issue isn't exclusive to the XFX variant.

There is no Dx12 version out yet for consumers. It's coming in few days.
