I've played GalCiv2 a lot. How hard to pick up playing GalCiv2.
Steam-a lot of people used to post that they disliked dvd. Problems downloading or playing.
Will there ever be a dvd instead of download. Thanks.
1. going from 2 to 3 should not be much of a challenge since you know the basic mechanics and how they think.
2. yes there are many who do not like steam but that is the distribution method and I do not see it changing.
We are not planning on doing a retail box/DVD in North America. Regional distributors may do them in their areas as usual, but that's up to them.
Digital Distribution has matured by leaps and bounds since GC2. Its hear to stay, and its by far cheaper for studios to offer this (savings of course are not passed down to the consumer) - I haven't bought anything on physical media in a few years. I think the only frontier left is the concept of software license brokering. Steam and others will get there one day.
