Bugfix : Start10 hiding itself

Hi !

Just found a bug. Here is an how to :

1. Right click on a software icon in the Windows taskbar, folders for instance. Options appear.

2. Left click on the Windows button to show up start10. Closes with no delay.

The issue doesn't come up if you press the Windows key on the keyboard instaed of click the Windows icon. Start10 Windows 7 or Modern Styles makes no difference.

Anyone else to confirm ? Can you please fix this ? Thanks :)

I'd like you to update to the 1.0 release and see if this continues.

This will continue in 1.0 as it was too late for the build.  But we will look into fixing it in the next update.

It is very edge case though so shouldn't cause you any real problems until then.

This is not a critical issue indeed and won't affect me a lot. But an issue it is, and I'm very glad you care about fixing it. Thanks :)

I have this issue as well; open the start menu, right click on the blank area and it says "configure start10" then left click on the blank space again and the start menu closes itself.  Also if you are viewing the start menu and left click on any blank area of the menu 3 times, the start menu closes as if you pressed the windows key.  It will also auto-close itself the same way if you leave it untouched for a short time which I don't like either.

End of Genopsyde's quote

The Start10 menu will only close when something else takes focus (or the windows key or escape are pressed).  None of those scenarios you mention should be causing it to close and I was unable to reproduce anything similar.  It is not designed to auto close and you could leave the menu open for hours if you so wish.

I imagine the auto close is something on your computer running and briefly stealing focus.  Directly after login this can be quite common as Windows loads up the start up tasks slowly.
