Issues running the DX12 version

Using Steam code, the game launches fine on the normal launch, but the Direct12 version gives me an error code: Failed to start game (missing executable)

 

I am running Windows 10 pro

Tried deleting the Appcache folder under steam

 

Any other ideas? I bought the game to experience it in DX12.

Despite that option to run in DirectX 12 from steam, the DX12 version has not been released to founders yet. It should be soon, but not yet.

there was a post about this and both Nvidia and AMD decided to enable DX12 on the 13th so it should be enabled.


Edit:There is a post about it being delayed for a few more days for founders but the build is being tested it seems.

AFAIK our preview of DX12 will be on the 20th.
