problems so far
I had a rather large list of points I wanted to raise, but thankfully most of the problems I was encountering were fixed with the latest update (great work Devs!!).
The only main issues I am now having are -
1. When I create a meta unit and ask the unit to move/attack etc. all the Tier 1 units scatter in all directions and the only units that actually follow my orders are the Tier 2 and Tier 3 units. I tried a few different combinations of units/tiers but always the Tier 1 units wouldn't follow commands and move off in random directions. The only solutions was to disband the meta unit and play using control groups only, which means a whole lot of babysitting.
2. Direct X 12 version won't start up. I have the correct windows etc. but when I try launch it I get as far as the Initialising/Loading screen and then it crashes. Not really a big deal for me at the moment as I am pretty happy playing the other version.
Smaller issues I have found are -
1. The hovering health bars disappearing from units in groups, some units show them, some don't. I will get a screen shot asap.
2. It would be great to be able to delete unit/buildings that are no longer needed. It is a bit annoying having an Advanced Factory taking up 15 power sitting way back at the starting seed base where I no longer need one.
3. And finally as a few people have already mentioned, it is a bit of a buzz kill to finally start dominating a map only to win via victory points. I expect there will be a game victory option added at some stage of the game development, but thought I would mention it anyway.
I'd also like to say how great the game is, even this early in development. Stoked to be a part of such an awesome game!
