Cannot Save in Galaxy Forge

I downloaded Galaxy Forge from the SINS website. It works until I go to save.  It doesn't matter what galaxy folder I save it in and I always get the same message.  Windows says that I "do not have permission to save here".  It sounds like a Windows issue more than a Forge issue, but I don't know what to do either way.  I'm running Windows 10 and latest Galaxy Forge, but I only have SINS Trinity.

Well, Galaxy Forge, especially the Galaxy Forge 3, was made way before Windows 10 was a thing. Hopefully its not an issue with that. I'd double check to make sure that your Galaxy Forge Folder is not read only.

Yeah, I hope so too!  I fixed it by running Galaxy Forge as administrator.  But now, my galaxies will save but they don't show up when I want to play them.  I've been through this before when I was on Windows 7 and learned all about saving them in the correct folders and such, but its still not working.  So maybe it is a Windows 10 thing!  Do you have any ideas?

It's probably the wrong folder again. They go in the GalaxyForge folder that is located where the mod/saves/setting/screenshot folders are. They will then show up in the "Galaxy Forge" tab in game, not in the normal tabs where all the other maps are.

 

I'm afraid I don't have Windows 10 yet nor do I play Trinity/use galaxy forge 3 anymore, so I'm mostly just going from memory on the old days here. :p
