Ashes Naming Convention Thread

Internally, we refer to our units as T1s, T2s, and T3s.  So do most of you guys.

But with early access approaching this Fall, we need to settle down and refer to them with game names.

In Sins, they're called Frigates, Cruisers, Capital Ships and Titans.

We're inclined to go with the same naming convention here except call the T3s Titans and save future T4s to be called Juggernauts.

What say you?

Awesome to have that change.

I will go with Frigates(T1), Cruisers(T2), Battleships(T3).

I feel that Titans are really big ships and are some kind of epic units. so Titans(T4)? and yes it will be nice to have Juggernauts(T5) in maybe 2020? when the game get very optimized with maps getting even bigger and war gets crazier?

Or whatever you like, i am fine with it.

Frigates, Cruisers, Battleships/Battlecruisers/Capital Ships, and Titans. I feel that a Titan sounds utterly massive - so a T4. For some reason, I like the sound of Titan over Juggernaut for T4.

The issue that I have overall, however, is that I associate Frigates, Cruisers, and Battleships with either nautical craft or space craft. In AotS, these vehicles are really land based, but just hover a bit on low-gravity planets. So, going to land based vehicle names would make more sense to me. However, the T3 look a bit more airborn than the T1/T2 units, and so taking a nautical/space name doesn't rub me as that wrong. This may however be because these larger units appear to hover that much higher above the ground, and thus are almost (slowly) flying rather than a land based movement.

My 2 cents
