Free ship bug

Hi all, my first post here.

 

I'm not sure if this has been mentioned here, but I'm getting free ships from my home planet shipyard.  I can move all production away from military, back to the planet, except maybe 1 point, and it keeps building a whole ship every turn.  It doesn't always happen, like say a Constructor, but any ship that uses mined materials (prototype are auto built), I just got a non-prototype capital ship built for free.  I scrapped it, I don't like cheating.

I hope this is fixed soon.

Are you sure you aren't getting unused production from a previous project? This can happen. If you are putting out 35 production points, build a 5 point ship one turn and then a 60 point ship the next turn, that 60 point ship will come out in one turn.

I am sure this is what he is seeing.  All "unused" production will continued to be utilized in the next turn so even if you stop putting in new production, a shipyard will build if it has carry forward.

How do I tell if I have unused "carry-over" production?  I don't see that anywhere.
