Feedback to all help

Lets put all what we think is missing by ower feedback .

 

The game is following the right track, but I leave here some alerts without know if are already thought or not.


1- The right mouse button to move the screen has to change, it does not result in battle and become rather inconvenient, perhaps the possibility of transferring to another key and let only orders to this key.

2-Engineers should be different (this is personal opinion) smaller and faster to execute orders, they are the key in early game .

2.1-Units must  get + speed .

 

3- We need more solutions in the construction, which goes not just throw units into the field but open another option field for several tactics ,at this point we only fight with units .

EX: Constructions that some pass only on engineers or  bases .


    . Shieds we must have to secure important point or even base

   . Points defence short range and long range like T1 T2 T3,for now we only have Artilhary T2 and Anti air Point defences.

   . Guys we need lot more options to fast tatics, for that we dont have a Commander  but wy not think in a early Special unit for that with special powers .

   . Maps editor with all options alowed like the SC editor  ,lot players here with great ideas for great maps

   .  We will have big maps Transporters are a need 

   .  Orders and range view on all units 

  . Anti nukes and Nukes

  . Anti missil and Missil lunchers 

  .Drones we have now  just awsome wy not give them bit more options

  .We need a special bonus to fight like reclaim  ,on SC or FA  now  on naval you can reclaim from fights like in field , that is the great thing on that game that                  make players think and train in  the most extensive range tactics (i think in that game the magic is on the reclaims tatics)

  .We need diferent scouts on ground like we have on air right now

 . Teleporter option 

 .Game anders and special build to infinit resources

.I really think we showld be able make ower power ,drops on enemy bases or any other place on field  to take out all resources are also a  tatic

 

 Note that this are some  options i think can make this Big game bether without know whats on to the future ,if it can be on game or not up to the team.

 Keep the fantastic work we are loving the game.

1. I think you mean right mouse button, and I agree. At first it wasn't a problem for me, but after a handful of recent instances where I didn't give an order that I'd intended to, and it took me up to a minute to figure it out, I now think something else is needed, or at least the ability to customize it.

I agree with some of the bullet points, not all, and I will leave it to the devs to determine which are appropriate for their game.

For the first time in this game I have found something annoying, something that makes the game less fun: occasional poor responsiveness of battle groups. When you have a lot of different units together, they want to march in a particular formation. When they have to change directions, they need to reshuffle themselves into that order. Sometimes they take 10 to 20 seconds before they really get moving, having to shuffle into that formation. I want my battle groups to get moving right away and shuffle themselves while traveling. They actually do this, but they also slow themselves down a lot in the process. I want them to be really responsive, even if that means "cheating" (units moving through each other, units moving faster than they are allowed to, etc.). I'm in the process of putting together a detailed post about this, which I hope to post soon.

Great feedback!

Some comments:

Re right-mouse button.  We will be making a setting option on this and then track what % of people change it and determine whether that will be the default.

Re Engineers.  We intend the PHC engineer to be slow and weak.  The Substrate one will be fast and cheap but will build slower (you'll need to make more of them).

Re Speed. You can hit the + and - keys to affect speed.

Re Transports. They're coming via teleporting nodes.

Re Point Defense. Apollo is going to get this as an upgrade.

Re Orders and range view already in, hit ALT to see ranges, SHIFT to see orders.

Re Nukes/Anti-Nukes. This ain't Supreme Commander.  We will, however, have Orbital Strike and Orbital Protection which are global abilities.  The Protection allows the player to protect certain areas with shields (and they stack) by spending rads after they build the Energy Projector.  Orbital strike brings down the wrath of god onto a targeted location.

Ty Frogboy ,has always you answer what i like , great work you guys are doing hope your team knows that :)

 

This is the right time we can and must say what we think about miss options, even if its not think to this game all help.

If you guys let to the and then its too late .

If any one have more ideas or something that like see in game, tell dont be afraid that no one cares .

Maybe they will grab some ideas and make it bether and in future who knows !!

great answers!  Most of these I knew, but hearing some of the other items makes me even happier with how Ashes is going to be the best RTS out there!
