Share your ideas ,maps ,mods problems and sugestions you have .

 

Im start making maps and  want to share only with founders for now ,so you  all start making maps and see what its need to be balance or add with diferent map situations.

 

Not means AOTS dont have good maps because we know they have but we want also make ower maps like a good challange to them :)

 

Give your feedback  and share your maps here ,so we can make the maps bether and more challange.

I just created a simple small map and tested your issue out.  I had no trouble switching between different kinds of terrains after rebuilding.  Was it not changing even after a rebuilding for you, or was it when you would load a map and that is when you noticed the terrain hadn't changed?

 

For me, anytime I changed terrain I hit Rebuild.

yes I load the map, I have in on ice, after I switch the terrain to dessert and started rebuilding it, after in finished rebuilding it does show the new terrain, but when I quit the map editor and load the game again and load the new map it take me back to the ice terrain.

I am on vacation now and I don't have the PC with me, I will be back by December 12,, I will put a link for you to download the map and try to help me out rebuilding it.

I think the ice maps now are very heavy for the game, that's why I want to change the terrain. because when I put 6 players in the game, it get really slow very fast early on, so I think the ice map is not optimized yet.

were is the map editor how can I get a hold of it, so i can make maps for the game, i made lots of maps for DR, sins up to sup com and i still have about 1000, maps in my file .. just wondering if you guys want some map help

 

I know stupid question but ! considering as i found the post and how to activate/enable it thx anyway ....

Feel free to say what you like to change in the units or builds .

Have some nice mods on units so ask what you like to change about anything to single player.

The number units you want spawn on factories like insted 6 brutes only 1 or 2 the way you like, if can Can Capture or not, Max HPs, Max Energy ,Armor ,Shields ,metal cost , logistics , construction time  what you remember.

 

EX Zeus got a Spawn count 1 you can have 2, got Max HPx 900 you might want 850, Armor its 8   you might want 6, cost metal 320  you might want 350, logistics 3 you might want 2 ...etc 

 

Just remember in some balance to put...or not..

 

I will just ask to not share for now its only to founders, and iff AOTS team dont want for now this ModDB just say its ok we will wait a bit more.
