Error message upgrading from Start 8

Installation failed

I installed Windows 10 november issue.

I then uninstalled Start 8.

I upgraded to Start 10.

At the end of the installation process, i received an erro message: "Encountered a sharing violation while accessing c:\PF\Stardock\Start 10\SasUpgrade.exe"

I did something wrong but what?

What antivirus package are you using?

Some AV apps have an issue with locking files whilst scanning them and breaking installers.

I use Bitdefender 2016 and deactivated it.

No problem then to install Start 10 with that trick.
