Search textbox not always focussed - Enter thus causes shutdown

Title more or less sums it up. I'm at a loss as to what I can do to help diagnose this issue. It's sporadic - perhaps 2-6% of the time the search textbox isn't focussed on opening the start menu. Hitting enter then shuts down.

Possible hack fix - could a confirmation dialog be added to shutdown?

We have made a small tweak in the next update to try to force this, but in testing nobody was able to reproduce a problem.
