Ui Information

This is just one suggestion  about the UI inf progressive  bars, which in the past had discussed this.

What is under way to develop is on track've seen and liked, I think ASHES must ride the wave to launch new ideas and not make what is the standard.

This is just one idea I have of what's already thought to the future .

Any update on your first ideas about this?

 

This is my thoughts that can make the game way bether and shine all beauty.

You guys are so good with these mock ups, but can you talk a little more about this.

The white circles in the "what we have" are their range lines right, very short so I guess they are brutes? (or are they their radar?)

The lines you have created look like selection circles? They look pretty funky though perhaps as a mod rather than vanilla, or maybe I am old and boring.

What are the numbers in red? The selection group I assume?

 

Talking about the UI are we ever going to see this stuff: (I just spent ages looking for it but I can't find it. There was a picture at the top of one of Frogboy's posts ages back with a T3 unit with a different type of health bar on top of it and the mini map looked quite different too. Was that mini-map scrapped? Or something like it coming later? It looks tidier than the current one. You would have to have a toggle perhaps to see the lines linking nodes and you might not want the double border lines as they might hinder view of the terrain a touch.

The different health graphic above the Prometheus looked good too.

I hope I wont get into problems by showing this.

 

what will happen if you put a bunch of units together with your Mockup? I think those lines or bars will get mixed up between each other.

Y thats what im talk , you can show the concept 

this on founders.

 

The white lines we alread have because that we can use it to health bars.

 

 

 

If you watch on upper left picture we already have all bars mixed.

Guys, I dunno how you are playing but those large white circles are not the normal selection rings. The only way I can bring them up and keep them up consistently is by Alt-Tabbing out of and then back into the game. Hitting Alt brings them up temporarily. They are definitely some kind of range indicator. The actual selection rings are tight green bands.

 

That is indeed the concept picture I was looking for ASADDF, thank you! I didn't realise it was concept though, I thought it was an internal build :S

I don't know if it would work for every unit type but the health and energy one above a T3 looks really good. The blue selection rings also look good though they may be a bit thick if you had a lot of units with it so not sure about it.

yes this concept looks good, but when you have a lot of unit at the same tie it will be weird, maybe just Enable it to the Dreadnoughts Only.
