Buildings are hard to distinguish visually

Picked up the game and been playing the last few days. My biggest griped is that the buildings are extremely hard to distinguish visually.

I cannot tell what the opponent has built in their base with a fly by scout, or what kind of resource is in front of me, or if an extractor is build on the node without clicking each individual one or zooming in extremely close. Everything just looks like a blocky pattern. I can usually tell, "Well, that's a turret I guess because fire is coming out of it.", but only when close by.

I agree on the resource extractor points and the PHC factories look very similar at the moment, though I believe the armoury is currently still temporary art. I don't know what global ability building is which should I scout a base but that is just because I haven't played it enough. I can't agree with the defence buildings though, they are reasonably distinctive to me. Do you play on quite low graphics options so they are less distinctive? It wouldn't lessen your point, just curious. I suppose the Sentinel and the Smartie both have a round base so from a distance they may be harder to tell apart. Actually having said all that, at this point in time I probably couldn't say for sure which building was the repair bay and which was the drone defence ha. More playing and concious observation should overcome that.

I'm running DX 11 mode with everything set to high that goes to high. It's apparent to me that it is the actual models and not some graphic misrepresentation. The defense buildings are just built looking similar unless you zoom all the way in.

One suggestion, that might easily be done, is to put some kind of symbol graphic overlay on them.

The Dev's will not put any symbols to the game and I hope they keep that idea. so in my opinion i recommend a small design change for it to look different.

The factory is something we're redoing right now. The art asset is just not in yet.
