no they are the default corvett's and i didn't change any settings and they were not upgrading at the time. i haven't tested them since i got higher level beams so maybe it was just those beams on thise level corvette's
Well the reason i asked if they were upgrading is because it recently happened to me where my ships that i upgrade,.. ok they appear to finish upgrading in visual terms, however, in the ship status it says 'upgrading' and it stays that way until i save and reload the game, only then is it upgraded.
So what happens exactly is this... when i upgrade a ship, it upgrades normally for whatever number of turns it is supposed to take, and it has that little upgrading symbol on the ship. So when the number of turns for the upgrade passes, it then removes the upgrading symbol, it visually looks upgraded, it even reports its new attack and defense ratings as it should. But secretly it is still stuck on the status of 'upgrading'... Took me over a day to spot it, simply because i am used to what a ship looks like when it is upgraded... i did not expect to find that secret upgrading status going on.
It seemed to happen when i have loaded an old saved game which was created before the recent patch.
