Can't start the game

Hi,

I just bought and downloaded the game today, but it seems i can't even load it, i've tried both DX11 and DX12 without any success .

When i choose DX12, I've got a white screen with the game's mouse cursor instead of Windows's for about 5 seconds, and then it crashes to desktop (without any displayed error)

When i choose DX11, Black screen, nothing moving, and even after i waited for a few minutes Windows Task Manager is telling me AOTS is not responding and i have to force close the game ...

I've been looking trough a lot of forums, but it seems i can't find any solution right now ... I don't have any issues with other games ... Sorry if  my english is not perfect but i hope you can help me .

My specs if it can help :

I7 3770k

GTX 970

16 Gb DDR3

Try uninstalling and then cleaning your GPU drivers with DDU. Download and install latest driver from Nvidia.

Try disabling steam community while in game. If you use MSI afterburner try closing it too. Tried reinstalling the game?

As a last resort you should try turning off any real time virus scanners while playing.

DX diag log might help identifying any problems with your system.

Here is my DX Diag, i'll try without Kaspersky running, but a already disabled Steam in-game overlay for this game, uninstalled Geforce Experience, and stopped MSI AB and RTSS

EDIT tried with Kaspersky disables, still the same issue with both DX 11 and DX 12

There is a small chance that the NVidia HD audio drivers are conflicting with your realtek drivers but I doubt this is the case.

Your system seems to have problems with the system memory.  If you have overclocked your system try loading optimized defaults in the bios.

It could be corrupted game files too.  Maybe try reinstalling the game if you haven't already.

Are you getting bluescreens while playing games ?

Sorry i had to wait to answer because of a Spam protection on this forum,

My motherboard integrated audio ship is disabled (from the bios) and i disabled Nvidia HD Audio as i've got a Creative Sound Blaster Z for audio.

I disabled Kaspersky too but still no results

Finaly i've deleted and installed the game again, still nothing  X(

I've captured a video if you want to see exactly what happens at launch ...

Thanks for your answer, I've opened a ticket, but for now it seems like they're just giving me some voodoo solutions, nothing worked until now ...

At this point I would recommend running windows installation repair tool and also repairing visual c++ 2012 installation.

To perform system scan for corrupted system files open command prompt as administrator use the search function to search for cmd, right click the program and open as admin. in the console type "sfc /scannow" without quotes.  This will take a while to complete.

I'm not having any issues with other games ... i've got like hundred of them and they're all working fine, performance is pretty good in recent maxxed out games (From Battlefields to Crysis, Ryse of the Tomb Raider etc ... so I don't realy think my hardware or software is the issue ...
