frame rate drops

Frame rate drops and gets laggy on larger maps. Frame rate returns to normal whenever I move away from a battle. I don't believe this is a hardware issue.

That does kinda suggest you are running at settings too high for your GPU to handle when in the thick of it.

I have the same issue with some large maps..  I had to  drop AA to have smooth gameplay. 

Difference is that my fps is bad from the start.  benchmark runs smooth 1440p crazy 8xMSAA but especially in that 6 player winter map it is just hopeless.
