  • What does it mean for AOTS? did the game got better FPS? better quality? the support is for only Vulcan?
  • Can the Dev's say in with way did the New Drivers helped to make AOTS better on Nvidia Cards?

Thanks in Advance.

After install of the 364.47 driver (clean install), my monitors all started to flicker showing graphical artifacts all over the place, not rendering a single legible item.

After a while windows put its foot down and booted the driver out, which has allowed me to uninstall it. I am reinstalling 362.00 at this time.

A quick google search indicates that others (primarily windows 10 multi-monitor users) are having issues as well.

I would not expect significant improvements to AotS at this stage.

Yep, this driver caused Windows to continually restart so I had to boot into safe mode.

Thanks for the warning chaps.

As I understand it, for multi-monitor setups and 364.47, the workaround is to disable extra monitors during the install.

Then re-enable them when your done. Worked for me.

No good to me.

My GTX970 still crashing when trying to do a DX12 benchmark.

But got better chance to get in to game menu in DX12 mode lol.

Funny thing is they said it's a game ready driver.....

Bullshit

Wondering should I roll back to older driver maybe i can do a DX12 benchmark

After I restarted my PC, the system refused to boot into safe mode (another problem I am going to have to deal with at a later date) it disconnected my secondary monitors, and defaulted to 1024x768 resolution, and wouldn't allow it to be changed and would not detect the other monitors at all.

It took a bit of effort, but I was able to restore to 362.00.

Agreed. This wasn't an anything-ready driver.

OH god, this makes me laugh so hard..

Ready to do Photoshop fixes again NVIDIA,, lol

I'm using multiple monitors and haven't seen any of the symptoms others have. Drivers installed pretty easily like normal for me. I do use DDU to remove the older drivers, along with Uninstalling the drivers through the control panel. Don't forget to uninstall MSI AfterBurner or EVGA Precision prior to installing new drivers.

I couldn't uninstall the drivers because I guess they didn't finish installing before Windows restarted. Had to disconnect my second monitor, remove the drivers, and do another install.

Finally got it working again.

If NVidia drivers are currently having issues with Win 10 then this is NOT the first time.

One of the SERIOUS issues with Win 10 is its 'forced updates' - something that screwed one of my systems quite efficiently.

The first thing anyone should do is actively disable Graphic driver updating via Windows.

Of course, early adoption of Drivers will almost always give someone issues....somewhere/somewhen....;p

BTW. Nvidia already release a HOTFIX called 364.51 for who can't install 364.47 driver

BUT It doesn't fix ANY issue that have been found in 364.47

(Like can't optimize AoS In GeForce Experience, because can't find it LOL)

So don't bother update it. You won't find those driver useful.

IMO stay with 362.00 or so.

I saw a 10% bump in performance at the High preset on my GTX 980M laptop ( old - new ).

I saw no different at Extreme though ( old - new ).
