Ashes in VR

Yes I know... But lets dream for a minute.

 

Think about it. Your are seated in a big "controll room" With multiple screens on the walls with different information like the overview chart, stats etc. 

 

 

In the centre of the war room (remember this is VR, you can turn your head around) there is this big battlefield screen:

And when you double click one single unit. You get cockpit view forexample from this one:

I think the main problem will be resolution though (and I know that resolution is where AOTS shines). So to get it to work I guess you have to divide the battlefield in smaller areas. 

Another big issue will relate to presise and quick orders. 

Wonder if we get there in my life time. RTS fully working in VR. That would be awesome though!

 

Oh, did I mention that there only are three walls with monitors in the controll room? Thats because the fourth side of your controll room (situated in you main base) has a big window. And you know you have little time left when the view from this is window is:

Ha, sounds cool for sure, but that is not just Ashes in VR, what you describe is way beyond that.

I can see games along those lines being created at some point; it would cost a fortune to be as flexible as you mention above though.

Shure it is a lot of work. I can nothing about game developing.
