A few post release bugs

Thought I'd drop some bugs and issues that I have been experiencing since the official release of the game. Not sure if some of them have already been reported.

1. I had an ally use the Carving Turret orbital next to a base of mine that had repair drone bays. The drone bays enabled the Carving Turret to stay alive indefinitely (did not disappear after its timer was up) by healing it. I am unsure if the Carving Turret kept the ability to attack as the base was not attacked again during the game.

2. On multiple occasions I have had tier 1, 2 and constructor units get stuck inside the ground, with only parts of them sticking out, and they become immovable. I did experience one instance of this where disbanding the meta unit that was stuck and individually moving all 30+ units to a new area worked. I have had enemy units do the same thing though and they become un-attackable so I can't kill them but with at least one instance they can still fire on my units. I had to abandon a defensive position because of one troublesome DroneHive that could not be killed but could still kill my units and buildings.

3. I have trouble placing structures sometimes. They have the blue outline so can be built but when I click to build I get the error 'can't build here' sound and nothing happens. To get around this I have to zoom right in and click several times to get it to work, usually towards the top right hand corner of the image but before the image moves to the next tile/available area is the sweet spot.

4. I would really like to see an option for factories to opt out of the meta unit building queue. It is pretty frustrating building a forward/secondary base, and then for example, trying to reinforce my meta units at my main base with new units only to have my forward/secondary base factories produce units that then drive straight through enemy territory and die.

5. I am a bit disappointed in the way the orbital abilities and thus the Orbital Nullifier system works. Having to have 10-15 constructors with my army at all times so they can make two to four Nullifiers every 10m otherwise the enemy spams (if you are up against multiple enemies they do literally spam these) orbital bombardments is rather ridiculous. On multiple occasions I have had to focus on other parts of the map, come back to the main battle to see that the enemy has moved in, focused on the Nullifier and destroyed it which then turns into the wiping out of my main army with three orbitals. I pretty much have to build a full defensive base every time I edge forward.

6. Again on the orbital abilities, I have had on multiple occasions where I get the green circle saying that I can use the orbital ability in the position of the mouse but then nothing happens. I am unsure if the orbital itself isn't working or the enemy has a nullifier close by and the circle is bugging out and should in fact be red.

Otherwise I am loving the release of the game, enjoyed the first chapter of the story and I am eagerly awaiting more. Great work!

I've had medics heal a carving turret before, keeping it alive indefinitely.  I haven't seen that happen recently though, so perhaps it was fixed.  Never occurred to me to combine one with a repair bay, but that sounds just as overpowered.

I have experienced this numerous times, as well.  Very frustrating.

I just did a little testing and I was indeed able to build a bunch of repair bays, supported by medics and an army, which I then used to keep eight Carving Turrets alive with. They still got knocked out by enemy fire occasionally but their damage output was impressive.

Another annoying problem I have encountered a lot is when you are loosing a battle and want to retreat or even if you see a larger force approaching your army and you want to back away but clicking a retreating move makes your army turn around which sends all the lower tier units far behind the dreadnought where they actually move towards the approaching enemy rather than away, and get wiped out.

Thanks for reporting. I've sent this to the developers, but also feel free to submit a support ticket if needed.
