research question

I have ran down the research tree in order to obtain Atmospheric Cleansing. Now that I have reached it, I cannot select it? What am I missing?

at the bottom of the tech tree you will see a set of ages and how far you are through the age
you need to research a certain number of techs before you can get to the next age
