Something of interest for all empires

Or maybe they are the safest of people. Afterall, fence sitters do not get sheep bombed, raided, eaten alive, taken for a real scary hay ride, or subjected to watching the minutes of Parliament in slow motion. Any or all of which can happen to someone bold enough to join any empire. But why play it safe? No fun being safe and alone.

Agreed, Gerakken. Those sheep bombs are particularly irksome, unless it is late at night in which case I start counting them and fall asleep....

However, I guess I wasn't too clear in my original post. I meant that no empire was safe with all those "free agents" out there, potentially joining/forming new empires bringing that huge reservoir of metaverse points into play and generally upsetting the status quo.

Well, I certainly hope they choose a theme empire. There are too many joining empires just because of real life affliations.

The Canadian theme is to be friendly until you look the otherway, then send in our beaver commandos and nuclear canoes.

It was only by the miracle of a recorded hockey game that the dreaded Canadian Ghost Ship got thwarted. But the undead can lie in wait forever until living flesh comes along. They will still be a fierce obstacle for any who seek to pass through the land of the dead.

Back on topic:
Yes, the untapped potential power of the free agents out there in the Metaverse is very powerful. But I believe there is something a little more than a lack of information about which empires are for what things or simple disinterest. Perhaps there is a segment out there looking for the right mix of theme, leadership, and player support (both in helping each other and cheerleading for their side) in an empire before they want to commit. Who knows, the next real major empire contender may yet be born. And if one comes along, I will keep an eye on it.

Darn, guess the misdirection campaign didn't work...we'd better return our beaver costumes...
