Some things require lots of looking on the map and hopping you do not miss anything.
An easier way to find stuff is to make the main map only show certain things.
stars, planets, anomalies, relics (types of resources), starbases, shipyards.
Effectively getting rid of the mini map unless you need to see the entire insane map at once.
