Ship Designer question

How do I put a part equally on both sides of the ship? As if I was adding wings or whatever. I forgot the mouse controls for this. Thanks for any help.

There is a button in designer - top row of the Edit buttons #5, 6, 7. Lookslike 4 squares along axis (Toggle).
