Hi,

I had a lock up under 1.82 - press enter the game (but happily not the computer itself) gets stuck in a repeatable way after a save - and tried upgrading to 1.83 without success. 

There were two ways to unlock using the cheat menu but both had disadvantages.

Firstly I  disabled fog of war and this worked except that when i re-enabled it the minor civs whom I'd now met remained visible. I suppose I could have ignored them till I met them for real but a minor glitch which could be addressed. 

Then I tried soaking while ending turn. This worked fine except that the cheating AI had magically built four new shipyards which I had to dismantle and some of their moves and new build orders were fairly extraordinary.

Have other people any ideas as to how to unlock the game (I suppose I ought to send yet another ticket to Stardock) without these disadvantages?
