Feature Request: Upgrading multiple selected buildings

Currently:

We double click on any upgradeable building to select all of the same type visible on screen, say Annihilator Cannons for example.  We then press either 'Q' or click on the associated upgrade button, a single seemingly randomized Cannon gets the upgrade command and the selection drops on the rest of the Cannons.  Rather than all the Cannons selected getting an upgrade, we get one randomized one beginning to upgrade, as well as loose the selection of the group.

Feature Request:

When we have a group of say, Annihilator Cannons selected, and then press either 'Q' or click on the associated upgrade button, all of the Cannons in the selection get the command to upgrade.  Regardless of the cost impact to our resource stream.

Additionally:

  • Auto-upgrade selection for upgradeable buildings that are either already built, or queued to be built.
    • Located where the "Repeat Queue" UI elements that the Factories use.
    • When this option is selected, the building will auto-upgrade itself until it runs out of options.
  • For upgradeable buildings that have multiple paths, display the different upgrade path options.
    • I.E. Blossom Launcher would display Sky Ender & Starburst options

Taking it even further:

  • Utilize a keyboard shortcut, such as CTRL while queuing a new building to be built, to add to the queue the auto-upgrade path
    • When a constructor comes along to build the queued upgradeable building, if it is flagged to upgrade, it stays after building to help upgrade
    • This will allow us to hold SHIFT + CTRL and build multiple buildings, that are flagged for upgrade
      • If we have the hold ALT in place to see support radi working, we could hold SHIFT + CTRL + ALT and get a lot of work done accurately and fast!

Your Welcome!

I already reported the first issue, but I really like you suggestion of telling a building to upgrade to the next version upon completion straight away. The current system involves tons of back and forth to upgrade things. There is too much of that in Escalation at the moment. Still hope we will be able to drag things out in a line eventually, like factories, defences and of course Quanta buildings. Content gets a lot of chatter but the game really needs more emphasis on more controls and ease of use stuff.

End of Ticktoc's quote

I agree fully with you.
