2.0 Freezes - anybody else?

Hi,

I've just has a freeze with 2.0 which is repeatable from a save. 

I tried lifting fow and also soaking for a move which sometimes works but neither did and have just submitted a ticket.

The build is 1581717 - and ticket #DZK-838-37641 

Are other people experiencing this again?

Hmm, me last night Turn 7, I'd put it down to somethign in my Mod broken though, maybe thats not the case.

Started a new game this morning and stuck turn on turn 23, Player 10. Reloaded 2 turns back and Stuck turn at turn 21, Player 2. Weird. Nothing in the debug.err file to indicate what the issue might be (not that there is ever much in that file tbh).

Be handy if SD were not so tight lipped about what settings we can apply, other than "Defualt" in config file regarding Debugging.

I had one the 1st time in 2.0 - it always happens on the same turn when the Drengin AI (no idea if its specific to them) wants to make its turn and the file

"debug.err" in ..\common\Galactic Civilizations III shows pages of those messages:

Edit: I did also happen in the same game, same turn, but on another AI's turn ("unknown player")

I can provide the save from one turn before the freeze, but it is with mods active - dunno if those saves are useable?

Can you clarify what you mean about the settings?

Happened to me as well.  Insane map, 13 Genius opponents.  I have tried a few alternate play throughs of the turn, but it did not seem to matter at all.  This is a version waiting for the turn button.  You should meet a new faction, talk with them, flicker through a few AI player turn announcements in the lower right, and then freeze.

It did not occur to me in the 1st incarnation of 2.0, but after the updates it did in several games and I found no way to get around the prob, so I gave those up.

Yesterday my 2.0 game stopped also during turn change at "unknown player 2" (insane, gifted, 10 AIs, some steam workshop factions, some privately modded files). I read at the steam forums that the devs found a solution for the stuck turn bug, so I don't know whether providing a save is still needed ...

I took my last save from yesterday and could also play beyond the point where it stuck (a few turns as yet).

We posted an update earlier today that resolved a stuck turn problem.  Be sure to restart steam to get it.
