PLEASE HELP! Sins Rebellion Will Not Launch

So apparently this problem has been around for years, but I have never seen anyone post that they have found a solution. When attempting to launch Sins of a Solar Empire: Rebellion, nothing happens other than it appearing as a background process in Windows Taskmanager. I have tried launching from the Dev exe and the exe, with no luck. I attempted "the purge" as shown on the troubleshooting page, which did not work either. I even went so far as to update my drivers as much as I could, with no luck once again. I tried reinstalling the latest version of the correct DirectX for the game, didn't work. It seems no matter what I try, Sins refuses to work. I'm absolutely stuck. Is there anyone who has encountered this problem before willing to share their solution? Please do.

Run the game as administrator and in compatibility with Windows 7

And before that, it's worth checking Windows Update if everything is installed, it is necessary to establish vcredist of 2010 and 2012. What are the game folder or download them and newer on the internet.

Good luck !

If you have gone through the troubleshooting guide, I'd suggest starting a support ticket.

Thanks for your support. The issue was resolved after I disabled my NVIDIA graphics card and used Intel. I use the HP Envy M7 which has Intel and NVIDIA and I believe the game was reading my NVIDIA card rather than the Intel one.
