How about opening everything you want to show up on your desktop and then just hitting print screen. Thats what I do. I assume you know what to do from there?

Personally, I use Snag-it. And save the desktop to a .jpg or .bmp

Screen shots are easy to take and require no extra software. You only need what Windows has already included.

5 easy steps to taking screen shots:

1. Arrange your Windows, Apps, Start Menu, ect. the way you want them to appear on your desktop screen shot.

2. Push the button on your keyboard labeled "PrtScrn/SysRq".

3. Click Start->Run. Type "mspaint" and click "Ok".

4. In MS Paint click Edit->Paste.

5. Click File->Save As. Type in what you want your screen shot to be titled and save as a ".jpg".

EventHorizon, alt + print-screen only takes an SS of the active window.
