What exactly is hyperpaint and why does it have a little bar that goes back and forth? What does that thing do? I know it's some type of hardware acceleration but can anyone be a little more in depth on what it actually does? Thanks

Hyperpaint uses the extra video RAM on your video card to "buffer" your windows which makes moving them on screen possible without any repainting.

Ok, but whats the little sliding bar for? Is it the percentage of memory used to buffer the windows or what?

The larger the window the more memory it will use for hyperpaint, hence the slider. If you have loads of memory, drag the slider over to the right!

Oh, great. Stardock should explain things a little more sometimes in their software or on their website. There seems to be some features that they just plain forgot to explain. Thanks Fuzzy and Logic!
