just wanted to say that there are some problems with large amounts of units (like multiply 10k units) "we" faced in multiplayer:
- Sometimes the Game begins to lag (10fps and lower) and suddenly crashes. (two of my friends faced this problem; 1080ti and Vega 64 graphics cards + decent CPUs)
- Not beeing able to select all units
- Game crashes after statistics and victory screen when pressing on "Done!". I assume that the cause of this problem is the deallocation of all the memory.
- At some point the Game begins to lag (10fps and lower) while CPU and GPU aren't fully used. This was experienced on a PC with 16 threads and a Vega 64 graphics card with I think high settings. Not even one thread was fully utilized. It was a game where one of my friends had 64k military strength and 2 AIs were also in the Game.
I would like to describe it more in detail, but sadly I wasn't playing Ashes at the moment where my friends experienced those problems so I just post here what I was told by them to help fixing those issues.
