Windows Blind Help

hey im running windows XP home and wen ever i install a windows blind wen i press start the XP start menu apperas, but its basicaly the same as the classic version only the colour match the windows blind, but in the Prewview, then start menu looks diffrent and totaly matches the skin, it does this with all my skins. Does anyone know how to help please.

I have had that problem on occassion. I guessed it had something to do with RAM. Are you running the latest WB?

i just been looking and i think it might be becuase i dont have the version you pay for?? do you have to pay to get this privlage??

I did ask that question to the lead programmer (Neil Banfield) of WB a few minutes ago on IRC. This is what he told me:

(MadIce): Is StartMenu skinning included in the shareware version of WB?
(WBlinds): yes
(MadIce): What if it does not work?
(MadIce): Any suggestions?
(WBlinds): usually that means one of 2 things
(WBlinds): 1) the skin does not include those images
(WBlinds): or
(WBlinds): 2) there is a glitch and you need to reboot

How much free RAM do you usually hav? Try closing open programs (after you download the skin, shut your browser and music and stuffs like that) and then try and load the skin. Just for an experiment. I used to have that sometimes but I haven't since I got more RAM. I don't have shareware.
